Virginia Village is a neighborhood in southeast Denver, Colorado. The neighborhood bounds the intersection of Interstate 25 and Colorado Boulevard, one of Denver's busiest thoroughfares. The neighborhood is five miles from downtown, and five minutes from the Cherry Creek shopping district.
Developed primarily during the 1950s and 1960s, this established neighborhood is a fun, eclectic mix of single-family ranch homes, apartment buildings and townhomes, along with shopping centers and mid- to high-rise office buildings. The neighborhood is also home to the Virginia Village Library and two parks, City of Potenza Park and Ash Grove Park.
The Virginia Village/Ellis Community Association (VVECA) is the community group for the Virginia Village neighborhood.
VVECA's purpose is to promote the welfare of the community it seeks to represent through activities aimed at preserving the quality of life necessary for its residents, churches and businesses to prosper. Read our bylaws here.
